Four extraordinary days: behind the scenes of The Bridge Festival

In April 2022, in Glasgow, UK, something very special happened. After years of planning, commissioning and collaboration, three incredible groups of musicians from across Europe descended on the city, joining ‘at home’ hosts Scottish Ensemble.
These four groups not only became one for a unique concert combining forces at the iconic Barrowland Ballroom, but they also showcased their own distinctiveness in their own concerts, and infused the city with music, with pop-up performances in schools, community centres, museums and shopping centres.
In this new documentary we delve behind the scenes of the festival, hearing from musicians, composers, audiences and others, giving a sense of what the festival meant to everyone it touched.
